Question of the Day: What's the Most Peculiar Kenyan Habit?

What about the ones you've used after?:)

Peculiar habits? Lateness. Nothing gives me pleasure than telling someone who calls 45 minutes after our appointment time "Nilikungojea nikachoka nikaenda.". My waiting time is the time it takes to take and pay for a teapot for a man, 40-45 mins for a woman.
Even when you're in the receiving end of a favour? I doubt

There is this one guy whom I wanted to get into business with, asked him to schedule a meeting which he does for 10am, I got there 30 minutes before and waited, and waited, and waited. Dude shows up 2 hours late. Went ahead to show him what a good deal we had and got him really excited. After that I looked for someone else and told him I couldn’t work with him. I got reduced revenue but if you have alarm bells ringing from the start, saves you headache to just walk away
