This is another dynasty vs hasora story that wont go down well!

si guys complained when kfc, galitoes etc imported potatoes from Egypt?ilisemekana ni because of quality, also potatoes in local supermarket are very clean, now mkiambiwa muoshe ndo kila mtu akuwe na opportunity ya ku supply bado mnapiga kelele, this is basically cutting out the brokers, a farmer can now harvest ,wash in his /her farm and supply themselves to quickmart or naivas or even kfc.
It's a win win for the farmer or you can sell to brokers and let them wash for you.

If you want potatoes of a certain quality, YOU contract the farmers, provide the seed and other inputs and you buy from them period! Not get the government to arm twist farmers on your behalf we are not serfs!
That's what Kenya breweries did back in the day with barley farmers!
