the next upgrade will be from SATA II @ 3Gb/s to SATA III @ 6Gb/s. By exploiting the higher bandwith of a PCIE 2.0 X1 port, inorder to make the most out of this SATA SSD. the SATA ports on the motherboard only ran @ SATA II speeds (3Gb/s).

once i'm done, the comp will;
boot even faster.
all sofwares will open more quickly.
the comp will be more responsive.
will be writing changes of heavy PDFs e.g Magazines or banners/billboard..,much faster when saving progress as i go. instead of hanging
for a few seconds every time i press 'CTRL+S'

this will probably be a thread on its own

Another thing most ppl underestimate is the power supply unit. In your journey to making that comp better buy a brand psu with minimum 80+ bronze rating especially if you plan to install a graphics card that support GDDR 5 memory.
that being a 24pin connector on the motherboard. it calls for an entire PC build from scratch. which i also dream of doing.
