He had tested positive for the coronavirus last week on Monday. The brother-in-law said he had travelled outside Nairobi and after his return started feeling unwell on Sunday.

"He went for a check-up at Karen Hospital on Monday and tested positive for the coronavirus," Wanyama said.

Doctors recommended home-based care and he went home but later developed breathing complications, he said.


The last line represents the new normal: stay in your home. If you fall ill, look for the hospital. When you have the body type and medical condition that COVID-19 loves, and unless you are called Uhuru, Raila, Nkurunziza or Joho, you'll get there and die waiting for scarce triage resources to take you in.

Yes najua papas burial was befitting lakini am wondering if a prominent personality eg former president(God forbid)passes will the burial be treated the same
