The song is based on a true story chronology.
The then young Mukaramani and John Ndichu were invited to perform at an event in Bonnie Murima's home in Githagara village in Mugoiri wa Tiiri Murang'a county on the night of Easter Friday 1984, April 22nd.
Mukaramani was from a beauty contest party in Nanyuki at club Blue Valley which was graced also by the presence of Kamaru, Wahome Maingi,John Ndichu among others. He was enroute to Murang'a for another party which they hired to perform alongside John Ndichu and since it was on a holiday they were on a very tight schedule and had to split,Ndichu was left to perform at Nanyuki and Mukaramani to Mugoiri.
Mukaramani hired a bus plying Nairobi-Githambo well known to locals as Sugar Daddy to travel all alone.
Upon arriving at Kiumba in Githagara, Mukaramani eyes first fell on Catherine Wanjiku whose rhythmic calypso dance moves while donning a very enchanting tight red 'hipster' awakened his sleeping giant, he had to make this girl his own!
Mukaramani approached the lady for dance and they made an instant rapport, wasting no time Mukarani seized the moment and passionately Kissed Wanjiku until they fell down, Wanjiku's boyfriend who was a police officer attached at Kahuro Police Station was breathing fire at the sight all considering he had bought Mukaramani a booze of Tusker that night, in gratitude he snatched his girl, he had to exchange blows with Mukaramani
😅
.
Within Minutes the boyfriend had ringed his counterparts and Mukaramani and Wanjiku were bundled into a police landcruiser and locked up at Kahuro station.
At the cell Mukaramani met Kariuki Wa Nyaga and the next Sunday Morning, Pastor Samuel Mwangi Githinji was brought in for allegedly stealing ironsheets.
On 24th April Mukaramani was arraigned at Murang'a magistrates court with public disturbance charges and when the judge inquired; mwahuranaga nikii? He replied twamumunyanire, tukihimbaniria tukigua
😅

hilariously the judge asked Wanjiku why she didn't apply for a p3 form after Mukaramani's assault she replied; ingikioya yaki na hatiari na mbaara no wendo tu
😅
(the title of the song is based on that instant), the judge lacking grounds for the case He dismissed it.
Mukaramani left with new found girl Wanjiku and took her to Kahiriga Day and Night club and spoilt her with soft drinks
Love smitten Wanjiku tried to Kiss Mukaramani but he declined because the judge was in the same bar and didn't want him to see them causing public disturbance again.
The Ngiukira na Mundu part was not originally intended to be but his Luo guitarists continued to play guitar after Mukaramani was done recording, the creative Mukaramani instantly added those words as they came to mind according to how the guitar was played.

Truth be told, 70s and 80s Kikuyu Benga wouldn't exist if the Lakeside brothers had not played the recording sessions.
