Since MCAs, started with the upuzi of being called Hon (honourables), County Executive Committee Members (county ministers) also started the same upuzi ate.. Hon - so and so. Jaoko Oburu is currently a CEC in Siaya County. Not sure why he is not running in a constituency in Siaya but in Langata, Nairobi County.
Before change of the Kenya Constitution in 2010, former Cabinet Ministers were drawn from MP ranks, so entitled to carry with them the Honourable title.
Hawa County CECs woote across the country , sijui wame okota title ya honourable kutoka wapi ? Ujinga mtupuu !
