President Uhuru can't escape some blame for lack of funding to Universities. However, is allocation of public funds the only problem? Egerton university is one of the largest land owners in Nakuru County. They have some of the best research brains in Africa. Why couldn't they put that land into commercial use?

Universities must be allowed to run as centres of excellence. They must never be allowed to be centers of excellent incestuous tribal allegiances.
