You'll sell me a calf then come for the skin?
Wrong comparison, It's isn't like they patented the slogan 'Kayu'.You call your loan early and demand your pound in flesh(media house)? It's a mob like strong handed tactics, reminiscent of the 80's Moi tactics against Mt Kenya cooperatives (the student learnt well from the master).

Ruto started well with offering an olive branch but Uhuru still too deep in his crooked ways. Uhuru needs to be calling out and distancing himself with Raila maadamanos to clear air. If we take this self destructive route there will be no winner. Hii shida yote umetokana na rallies.

Well, of course the gracious lady would tell her friends the story that would attract their sympathy. I would have liked to hear the other side's but unfortunately we'll never get to hear it because -in their own words - they do not respond to rumours nor discuss their client's business with third parties-. I would like to read somewhere Rose has published the allegations in a credible medium - link please.

I have had the benefit of following Rose's career right from when she came up with the then brilliant idea of branding Mumias Sugar when she was Marketing Manager (under Kidero), then she left to start what looked like another innovative idea where she started Regional Reach (I think it was called) where she installed colour tvs on walls of shops in rural towns (Most families watched grainy Great Wall then). Suddenly there were more tv stations, with clearer colour signals than KBC's, and cheap (relatively speaking) colour TVs hit the market. It was also the age of DVDs and, VCDs. The watchers retreated to their sitting rooms.

The advertisers she counted on shifted to TV. Regional Reach was obsolete almost as soon as it started and being the astute business person she is, she saw and became a pioneer in the vernacular media niche and landed on the Kameme idea which instantly became a hit (I have always wondered how she went round Moi's people to get the license but because Kameme became a hit instantly even Moi complained loudly that vernacular radios would promote ukabila .
Soon other investors with better financial muscle arrived on the FM radio scene (morning Kiss, Citizen, Inooro: and particularly Inooro. They soon poached her talent kina Waweru Mburu, Wamuchomba etc. Wamuchomba was to later leave to start yet another Gikuyu FM with John Mututho called Bahasha FM before....another story there...

The new kids on the block - with better spread like the Citizen group - were soon eatiing Kameme's breakfast and lunch. The Kameme ship was clearly in turbulence and I can confidently speculate that her financials were taking hits and she couldn't keep commitments with her financiers. -NOTE speculate . When companies are unable to cope they go on the block on their way to folding...or their owners sell the brand to another entrepreneur and salvage something - the alternative is to be sent to auctioneers who sell everything below value and you leave the game with zero (have you played monopoly?.

Interesting fact: I started doing this answer at 9.00am but K Power and Darkness have been playing their Houdini game this is about the tenth time they're back. I could have given up but I thought your future comments should be illuminated by a wider picture.

Are you saying Uhuru should chicken out, should not do what his conscience tells him. Have we mandated the president to take away his rights and freedoms?

I am saying he should distance himself from the protest and let they guy serve the people. He has right to oppose the govt but through funding such hooligans, that amount to coercion and manipulation. The guy is so spoilt that any good gesture he takes it as weakness, now ruto is after their bizness to show him he has claws.

Is he in the protest because Ruto said he is or you saw him in Jacaranda? Hooligans you say?

You are trolling
Not one bit.
On the hooligans bit- where would this country be today if it were not for the people Moi called hooligans 30 years ago putting pressure for a change in governance? There will always be work for these hooligans to do as long as we haven't gotten the country we deserve - one where the government works for the people.
