Brimin Kipkorir Misoi clocks 2:08:30 to win the 42km race at the inaugural Nairobi City Marathon, Richard Rop finished second in 2:09:17 as Daniel Yator settles for third in 2:10:15.President Uhuru Kenyatta and First Lady Margaret Kenyatta flagged off the inaugural Nairobi City Marathon, dubbed Uhuru Classic, at Nyayo National Stadium today in the morning.
The winners of the Nairobi City marathon will be awarded as follows:
Winner -$60,000 which is around KShs.6M
Runners up - $35,000 which is around KSHs.3.5M
Third-place- $25,000 which is around KSHs.2.5M
The top-20 finishers will also be awarded.
