Mitsubishi Pajero SUV

i have noticed the number of Pajeros on Kenyan roads is pretty him. My rough estimate points to a possibility that Pajeros have out numbered their main rivals, the Toyota Landcruiser Prado by 3:1. I mean look at number plates from KBA (YOM 2000 onwards).

Talking about the V60 and later V80, sceptics assumed that the monocogue chassis adopted for this car was destined for a poor showing off road. I do not know, i am not a hardcore off roader.

At this point, it must be noted that Lamd Rover later adopted the monocogue for Range Rover although this led to the Disco having a ladder chassis and a monocogue since they chose to carry over engineering from the previous model. In the end, the big brit proved everyone wrong with the unmatched off-road ability on a monocogue.

Those who follow these things, could you update us on how the V60 faired against the 120 series Prado (ladder chassis) and how the V80 compared to 150 series (also body on frame). Did the monocogue hold up well with extended off road usage.

Engaging owners or users. Jamaa wa passo mkae kando.

Huku Kenya sidhani many people really employ their vehicle capabilities off road to their full extent. Hizo ni za kutishia watu kwa streets tu na kutravel long distances.

And a good number of these Pajeros are kafment vehicles. Naotea moja, ka 3 litre V6 ama 3.2 DiD.

There's some videos of an Australian dude space who went to Namibia to drive a Pajero 2013 model and gave it a pretty poor review. Pajero enthusiast from South Africa have been giving him s*** ever since. I can't find the video on YouTube but it's available I just don't have the time to search for it

From you tube it looks very capable car. A local car columnist gave it a low rating. At it lacks structural integrity. Mara it splits at the C pillar after hard and extended off road use.

Saw that video sir! He really complained about the middle seat. I mean JM baraza. He writes on daily nation on wed. Nigga relies on hear say and the opinions of semi illiterate mechanics. This Mitsubishi is spot on. The 4WD system is a gem, beats landcruiser on that. He sucks big time.

Nice car. I wonder why they are currently so many of them in the roads compared to the Prado.

JM can be an idiot sometimes to the point of making claims without backing things up.

I see those cars on the road and I feel like looting NYS to get one from Australia or Singapore. This car is an underrated gem.
