Elder Lister
Overworked and underpaid.
Generally 'toxic' training environment.
To name just but a few.
Pole to the family but people need to toughen up because I don't see a very bright future ahead. If a person who is single can take away their life what about those with families?
Rarely do those who put in the work get paid an amount commensurate with their effort. Nowhere in the working world does this happen but it does in self employment eventually.
There's also need to manage one's expectations and being humble. When you think your career is more important than others yet society doesn't bother with you, you'll be in trouble with yourself...Every rich doctor was once an overworked and underpaid young medic. They toughened up, put in the work, perfect their skill sets and opened their own clinics....microwave generation wants to be paid million because they injected you with an antibiotic and you are healing yet they don't want to be held accountable for mal-practices...they want to drive benzes and live in spring valley 2 years after they graduate....and most of these characters are para students because for a majority of them it wasn't for passion but the name...
Read the story of the late Dr. Njoroge Mungai....
