The man does not have 30 cases in court. That is a biiiiiiiiig lie. A great majority of these arrests were resolved 'locally', where the offenders repaid the victim what he lost while compensating the officers handsomely for their trouble. If you have never witnessed such an incident, you most likely drink with near-dead patrons with nothing to be robbed. Again, you seem to live in a different world. Stick around a police station on Mondays and you are likely to witness such scenarios and more, which is a good real-life experience.
