A good picture is the combination of focus, shutter speed, aperture opening and light. At night you cannot use enhanced/supplementary light (flash) without alerting them that you are on their case. The camera is static and not human operated so you cannot zoom in or out and the quality entirely depends on the parameters set by the manufacturer and installer..
Finally, the pics are not shitty, they are grainy.

Anyway, it was taken with specialized equipment (telescopes) attached to special cameras.

Actually I was wrong. No rhino was lost to poachers in 2020 but sadly 20 elephants fell to the poisoned poacher arrows...he was celebrating KWS 75th birthday.
