You can't have me pay and jail me at the same time. The Court will expect you to make good (pay) all the losses occasioned by your Servant
I think any reasonable judge considers the circumstancesYou can't have me pay and jail me at the same time.

In my profession negligence is not criminal, restitution is handled vile gashui amesemaWhen one is a Professional in any one field, the Law expects them to carry it out in the highest standards possible.
They should be able to anticipate and mitigate hazards and dangers likely in their field.
But kuna criminal negligence, which as per its name is kirimino. I don't know what seperates the wheat from chaff, but kidogo nimesoma ni intent has to be provenNdiyo wanatakikana kuwa na indemnity insurance.
The reason I still insist those mechs aren't criminals but tortfreasors (new word I learn from my crush @Tiiga Waana )I think any reasonable judge considers the circumstances
If a Court Fine (Court Order) is paid, all ends well though you might be ordered to train your work force and be inspected for health and safety protocols. You can't have me pay and jail me at the same time.

Very well explained. If a Court Fine (Court Order) is paid, all ends well though you might be ordered to train your work force and be inspected for health and safety protocols.
But like @Mwalimu-G alluded, there are certain torts where you get fined and imprisoned. Imagine for instance if the fire had spread to a neighbouring house where a tot was sleeping and
consequently perished in the inferno.
You would surely serve time in the can albeit for a tort.
Where death and serious injuries occurs due to negligence (torts) of others, it is not uncommon to spend time in the cooler.
I cannot be his servant. The Court will expect you to make good (pay) all the losses occasioned by your Servant, @QuadroK4000.
If you wonβt, a Judge will order a Bailiff to come to your house and cart away everything in there (underwearβs included) for auction.
