Advise on land sizes
I plan to buy land where I can practise farming and perhaps in future settle there.
I have found two piecess on sale and I’m torn on which one to go for. Both are in locations I’m comfortable with and have similar utilities such as access roads, power lines and water.
PARCEL A – (cost Sh800,000)
-Half acre
-True rectangle (around 200ftx100ft)
- Flat land (a very gentle slope)
- black loam soil
PARCEL B (cost Sh1.2 million)
-One acre
-Irregular size ( width 25ft x length stretching a long distance to give dimensions of acre)
-Steeper slope
- Red soil
Bottom line
Parcel A is better for building a home and it’s value might appreciate faster but is costlier than B.
What advise would you give?
