Contrary to popular belief helicopters don't just fall from the sky, if the pilot is skilled enough and had enough time, just like a plane it can 'glide' down to the ground safely with no engine
wacha nikimbie google, I thought when that blade stops the thing falls like a rock, ama the blade acts like a wind turbine, but I am doubting that would produce enough lift to help in any sort of gliding.

Interesting, have never had an interest in matters flying, lakini this looks like the transmission, or gear system still retains some power even after engine is switched off, is it some kind of inbuilt mechanism to maintain some level of auto rotation ama keeping the rpms up either via a secondary engine ama transmission ama some other power source.

but makes sense, eitherway if a normal plane lost both its wings it would also be hard to glide.

There is more information if you google and even live demonstrations of the same
