Kiraitus convoy stoned

Drama ensued at the Igembe grounds after some unknown goons stoned Meru Governor's Convoy.

According to sources, Kiraitu Murugi who is currently seeking re-election had organized a rally to try and lure in more voters to his side.

Kiraitu who had previously shown his full support for Raila Odinga has recently changed tune after locals blasted for his political stands.

The Meru County Governor has called for investigations into the matter as he accused all his rivals of planning the scary chaos.

The incident comes barely days after the former prime Minister Raila Odinga chopper was stoned.
