Been a month since I visited Kijiji ya mavijana. But of late there are numerous posts here saying that hiyo Kijiji imekufa.
If the admin is incompetent as alleged, the time the Kijiji should have died was in 2017 when there was high traffic due to the political discussion. Not Now.

The external attack coincides with when this village was opened. I know people will accuse me of conspiracy theory but that's a fact.

There was change in administration. Kijiji got a new owner I think, then deorro akahama. You can't rule out deorro out of their mess but again you don't know about the competence of the new administrator.

Back then the human resource composition was different from what it is now. There was a change in management. We also cannot rule out that they may have faced some challenges that they are unable to navigate due to lack of expertise; or maybe they are upgrading the site. Even back in 2017 the site used to go offline but come back in a matter of hours or minutes. There was also communication beforehand

Apana. Nothing to do with hosting. Kwani how much does it cost to host a website mpaka mtu ako US anashindwa kulipa?
One of the people with admin rights took it down. But true, working from home isn't effective.
