Kiambu County Assembly yesterday became the country's first assembly to table two impeachment motions in a single day..

One against Governor Ferdinand Waititu who is accused of misappropriation of public funds, usurping powers of the public service board in hiring and bending procurement rules among others.

The other motion is against Acting Governor James Nyoro who is accused of gross violation of the Constitution by assuming office as Governor, abuse of Office and mental incapacity to perform his duties as deputy governor.
