I think so too. Kijana prolly told his fellow addicts that his demonic father was back from the US with millions and they could steal them and ball for life, only if they could help him kill off the entire evil family. Addicts require very little incentives to commit crime, and he probably just supplied that day's fix to a few of his buddies and the murders were done.I suspect psychosis from mihadarati.

DCI said there were 5 assailants, plus a probox was reported to have been parked right outside on that day. In his confession he seems to have confirmed he had accomplices, clearly he was not alone.Still don't believe he acted alone.

I don't think they are related. Just one of those families with very many enemies because they are criminally inclined.It may be the case, but that doesn't explain the 5 previous murders in the extended family.
