A tout at the OTC stage in Nairobi has admitted to knocking out a conductor's two teeth for failing to give him Sh20 after dropping a passenger at his designated area. According to a report by a local publication, James Lonkai caused grievous harm by hitting Stephen Mwihaki with a metal bar wrapped in a black rubber band. The accused demanded Sh20, and was enraged when it was not forthcoming. The attack resulted in two broken upper teeth and injuries on the upper lip. The complaint was taken to Park Road Hospital as a mob frog-marched the accused to Kamukunji police station. According to the medical report, a dentist at the facility said Mwihaki's dental formula had been deformed. The accused pleaded for forgiveness, saying he acted out of anger.

Let me give an example.... From Gitaru to Town, kuna mashimo (stages) kama 12. You have to pay an an amount as the bus crew.

In some of those pick up points, there's a minimum amount.

Gitaru is 50 bob for 33 seater.

Bora usimamishe mat hapo na passengers kadhaa waingie.

Unashindwa if walikuja na wateja kwa stage.

So, before that vehicle gets to town, as the crew you have spent almost 400... Na hujatoa minimum amount to those other guys in traffic dept.....

True, I saw 2 waria guys fight at a petrol station. Mind you they were parked next to each other, mmoja akasema sijui the other is too slow, matusi kidogo and next minute they were on the ground wrestling. Middle aged men.
