I believe some things are useless and in vain e.g prayer as i have pointed out earlier but in the same vein i have hope that humanity can and will do better collectively, i have hopes for my work and personal life.

Elaborate further why i would believe in a "higher calling"? And explain what higher calling means in this context..
why do you have hope that humanity does better collectively? is there a collective supernatural calling that you believe benefits when humankind does better?

To answer the first question, so that everyone better off in mentally, physically etc. In a sense to maximise pleasure/happiness i guess.
Second question: i do not believe in the supernatural of any sort.

I was a believer. Got "saved" too. There were always doubt though. Then i thought long and hard about why i believed and realised there was no reason i had besides faith.
And faith is not a good reason because you can hold any position based on faith.

For the most part you are correct. So the muslim, christian, mormon, zoroastrian, hindu, space-monster, fairy/pixie belivers all cant be right can they? Because you will find people in all those and hundreds of other belief systems (which frmly contradict each other) who firmly believe their god-belief or whatever is the true one.
So how do you tell which one is true? You cant because as you said, you cant prove a god doesnt exist...but they cant prove theirs does either!

I take exception to darwin in your listing only because i assume you mean the theory of evolution. For which the evidence is mountains high.
That's the problem it Christianity, you aren't allowed to question anything and most of Christianity is about faith and don't question.

What if he willed you to think as you do currently?
Then i still wouldnt have free will. I'd be a puppet basically doing what he wants. Isnt that so?
And if thats the case, he has willed every other thing that happens as a result of his control over free will. Which as you might guess leads to aspects that would contradict his very nature from a christian standpoint.

You have free will in a limited sense, isn't it practical to simply live your meagre minutes indulging your tastes in place of defining said free will?

I agree.
Wouldnt you agree that its a waste of time time talking to and asking things, praising and doing things in the name of an entity that you cannot conclusively prove to exist?

Assumimg that the god is an ever-knowing, omnipresent being. Consider the following questions:

a). Would a reasonable being create a power that could sabotage him/her/it? E.g. Satan
......or Adam who would later disobey Him

He has everything planned out and knows how to execute it, therefore he knows everything.
Predestination is a lot of hogwash...

This is what drove me to Theistic Agnosticism

For me it's because the design and the physics behind the universe led me to believe in a Divine Deity whom we mere mortals cannot understand.....

I'm not a mono theist, I find people a little bit too full of themselves so social distancing is a good thing.

Lets throw some spanners in there:

1. You have a god who creates man in his own image. But he forgets to create a woman.

2. He/She/it creates a garden and creates a garden. Goes ahead and dismembers the man off his rib to create a woman and places both in the garden. Forbids them from eating a certain fruit of knowledge.

3. Somehow, a disgraced god's servant rebels and turns into a snake (a gods creation!) and tricks other gods creations to rebel against god.

4. The god is now vengeful and kicks out and curses his own creation.

Assumimg that the god is an ever-knowing, omnipresent being. Consider the following questions:

a). Would a reasonable being create a power that could sabotage him/her/it? E.g. Satan.

b). If the god above was happy with his creation and found it OK, why did he then create a woman?

c). Why did he allow creation errors (bugs) in (a) and (b) lead to a catastrophic system shutdown.

The bible says that the Garden of Eden Project was shut down, the project subjects cursed and expelled. The project manager passed on the failure to his subjects and has never accepted responsibility for it's failure.

Would you hire such a fella as a project manager?
Hii swali hamjinijibu. @Luther12, kuja taratibu. I know they must have an explanation hapo Kwa seminary.

I want to to know why Sir god made so many errors.

@The.Black.Templar, until the day God stops working in mysterious ways, defending will always be a barren endeavour, a futile effort!
I am not defending, but we are creatures limited by our own way of thinking and understanding...take for example, just 150 year ago Slavery was legal and righteous, someone like bigdog of that time could have easily said that he needs the black man to work his farms until he dies based on his limited understanding at that time

I'm not a slaver sir. I always pay a fair wage for everyone that works with me. I cannot treat you unfairly for any reason. I do my best to treat people as I should be treated. I grew up in a slum(kia Ndutu), I know how difficult life is. I have also lived in Mukuru Kwa Ruben and Korogosho if you must know. I have seen Mūngīkī come and pass.
