Winfred Nduku, a 24 year old woman, stabbed to death her two children, aged 2 and 6, in Kayole yesternight. This is after she got angry for being asked by the mother why she was on phone instead of cooking for the children who has slept hungry after she came home at 7PM.

She later on stabbed herself in the stomach and is currently at Mama Lucy hospital nursing her injury.

Not necessarily...... 2yrs ago my cousin was admitted at the nairobi west mental wing he had slipped into depression after his father passed on ...... surprisingly when i went to visit majority of the patients were teens and college students . That day after watching how young ppl were wasting away i couldn't help myself i cried. i left that place stressed.

I agree with you many college students wanna suffer in silence but i think it's majorly to do with financial problems and pressure kutoka kwa wazazi

When these issues aren't properly addressed they will come back and haunt our society. We need a hotline number that has psychologist and psychiatrist round the clock to help guys with mental issues. We usually turn on saying ati huyo amerogwa,yet with right treatment people get their lives back

Early intervention is critical my cousin was gone..... jamaa in a spun of 4months had filled 3 4quire books with dreams and bible stuff he would ask pray after every few minutes.... luckly for him the mother took action and with help of committed / consistent psychologist he is back to normal.

Depression is more prevalent on men that ladies. Ladies are better on handling emotions. Uyu mathe nimyoung sana...not a good sign.
