There was a particular day when it rained heavily in Meru. That day the laga was a seething and furios monstrosity. It mowed and moved anything on its path; boulders, trees, anything. I saw it carrying two terrified, screaming monkeys atop a downed tree , a warthog and a dog. I swear I saw it carry a snake too.
