Well back in 2017 when I was in form two , (where you are faced with adolescence,)I have this boyfriend who we had dated for over three months know wanted to have sext with me
Well like the good child I was I wasn't ready to have sex or even he in any kind of intimacy with the guy ...
The only thing I could freely agree to was hugs and cheeks kiss...I wouldn't kiss him on the lips coz we had been warned back in primary school about STIs like HIV/AIDs...I was the kind who used to listen to my parents , teachers and church clergy....
So this day this guy invited me over to his place and yeah I went...when I got there he asked for sex and definitely I refused to give in ..so he asked for a deep kiss...I was about to give in but I thought to myself that I didn't know this guy for so long and so I decided not to give in yet because even before that weren't friends...I just saw him around so I decided to at least take time to get to know him better
As expected he became angry and furious and decided to ditch me...I accepted and moved on..two months later I found out his mom had fallen Ill and had been rushed to the hospital...
I found out that his mom had been suffering from HIV/AIDs and my ex boyfriend had contracted it by birth
His mother had been taking medication and same to his son,my ex boyfriend....sadly his mother didn't make it ..
From henceforth I decided to first know someone's status before getting intimate..or opt for protection during sex to avoid other STIs like syphilis and early and unwanted pregnancy
