Waah. Love his voice.
waah sikujua, si i thought hard drugs are frowned upon in rastafarian culture?Gregory was a cokehead na vile he sang about Hard Drugs. The more you get it the more you want it. My fav r Objection overruled and Front door.
He didn't belong into any of the Rastafarian houses ( Bobo Ashanti, the Niyabinghi, the Twelve Tribes of Israel) like Luciano or Don Carlos. If you notice he was lover's rock genre and not roots reggae.waah sikujua, si i thought hard drugs are frowned upon in rastafarian culture?
don't confuse music and Rastafarianism, he was a lovers rock artist. my favorite is "tell her you're sorry"waah sikujua, si i thought hard drugs are frowned upon in rastafarian culture?

Yup, the song Night Nurse is a reference to heroin. Listen to the lyrics carefully, he's singing about going through withdrawals.Gregory was a cokehead na vile he sang about Hard Drugs. The more you get it the more you want it. My fav r Objection overruled and Front door.
it never occurred to me but now I can see it. Did he say it himself ama?Yup, the song Night Nurse is a reference to heroin. Listen to the lyrics carefully, he's singing about going through withdrawals.
When he was interviewed about it he claimed the song was about a woman, but the lyrics are just too conveniently related to drug use for that to be the case. Around that time addicts would refer to their drug of choice as 'night nurse'. I don't think it's a coincidence that's what he called the song.it never occurred to me but now I can see it. Did he say it himself ama?
'you're my one and my only remedy..'
