I have promised myself to never ever refer to anyone as a bonobo but if I may be honest, I very nearly used that term today concerning the above mentioned.
Someone can be forced to do something they do not want to do or perform, legally referred to as a Duty to Act, from either an existing relationship (for instance one’s children, parents or one’s spouse), where once has volunteered to help (eg adopted children or relatives or strangers brought to one’s home from the streets) or from duties arising from a contractual obligation.
Now, in this present scenario who is to know whether Lilian is going to Court to enforce a legally abiding agreement they had with Mutua that he would support any future children she sired?
Granted, this is a very hypothetical case but very relevant nevertheless.
