How can you tell one is a kenyan?

It's Me Scumbag

It's not a millennial thing, it has existed since the 70's, it was called Engsh back then. Guys who schooled in the former Westlands division, can tell you.
True not necessarily a millennial thing but those created languages/use of different language lexicon do differentiate different generations, neighbourhoods etc...

Ni tabia gani which if you see someone doing utajua straight away that he/she is a kenyan?

I go first.

1. After going through the menu in a restaurant, he will ask the waiter " mko na nini?" . That's most likely a kenyan.

2. In a building hapo ground floor people waiting for lift. The lift button has already been pressed and the light is on. Someone comes and presses the same button ya lift..Huyo ni mkenya.

3. You are in a queue like a bank or a restaurant. Someone is behind you sako kwa bako. You can even feel him breathing. Most likely that is a Kenyan.

4. Pale kwa ATM. He withdraws cash then counts to confirm. That could be a Kenyan

5. Hurls insults at all politicians for 4 straight years. Year 5 he joins their campaign teams. Mkenya huyo.

6. It is raining. Na makanga wamepandisha fare from 100 to 150. He goes to a bar and drinks beer with 500 akingoja bei ishuke. That one is Kenyan.

7. An empty 29 seater matatu pulls up at the stage. 15 commuters fight to get in. Those ones are Kenyans.

8. " You said you are called who"....." Me I"..... That's a kenyan.

9. If you're a light skin, strangers talk to you in kikuyu
Whispers captured Kenyan mannerisms aptly

This is perfectly logical.
Say I have 6k budget for alcohol and 5k budget for transport. A makanga increasing fair by 50 bob hits my transport budget irrecoverably. But me grabbing mbili baridi as I wait for fairs to reduce just means my alcohol budget is now 5600 going forward.
