By the way it is the Chinese that contribute the word uji to swahili from congee, which is basically uji made from different grains including rice.

You know something else @teacher....the Chinese would've been what England was in those centuries were it not for a dynasty that turned more inward and cruel to its citizens. I forget which one it was...but thanks for the info.
