Hantavirus - a virus caused by rodents

Hantavirus has trended for the better part of the day and honestly, there's panic.

The world is still digesting the Coronavirus, and before understanding what Covid-19 is all about, it is alleged that a man in China has died after contracting the virus.

Hantavirus is caused by rodents such as rats. If a human gets into contact with urine, saliva or feces of a rodent and then touches their face, mouth or nose, they contract the disease.

Hantavirus is not airborne, it can only be transmitted through rodents, neither is it communicable

This is not a new virus as others may say, it has been around and the first case was discovered in the 90s.

Nimetafuta hiyo story everywhere and it is only the gutter press of India that has it. In fact the Global Times of China does not seem to have the story, or maybe they pulled it down!. So far no international news agency seems to have picked it.

The New York Post wouldn't publish unverified new
For very many hours only Indian gutter press had the story.

And your esteemed New York Post isn't exactly mainstream; I mean it is not exactly The New York Times or The Washington Post.
