As part of planning for an immediate return of exam classes in schools, stakeholders are now working for the needed safety for students to resume back to schools. This was reported by broadcasting services minister Monica mutsvangwa.

In her briefing, after a meeting of the ad-hoc inter-ministerial taskforce on COVID 19, she said the ministry of primary and secondary schools had come on board for the production of preventive measures and another testament of the accurate based curriculum.

"The education system has been interrupted by the COVID 19 virus and we need to work on the box so that it won't suffer a lot of damages and learners not disadvantaged," she said.

President Mnangagwa had already directed that public exams within schools and final year of colleges and universities must be allowed to continue to be known and following the stipulated COVID 19 preventive measure.

Minister mutsvangwa said consultation has been made at the provinces, district, and cluster level with stakeholders for the safe and secure conduction for the exam to begin in the shortest period of time.

So the ministry of health and child care will be coming up with a framework, which ensures only important and established companies participate.

Minister mutsvangwa said the pandemic going on shouldn't be an avenue for anyone to enrich themselves at the expense of the nation.

stay safe!
