Raymond looks like a much better politician than Gideon atleast at talking to the crowd. I suspect he was forced to concede and allow Gideon to carry on with Fimbo Ya Nyayo. Even just look at the way he summons Gideon to speak and the way he talks almost condescendingly to Gideon. Body language here also says something
