It’s incredible, isn’t it @Mwalimu-G that a medical procedure routinely practised over 2000 years ago by the Romans is only finding it’s way to Samburu, Kenya.
Myth has it that Caesarian Section is so named after Julius Caesar himself.

Backwards can not adequately describe this news, Man. Hopefully this is only the beginning and other medical procedures taken for granted universally will find their way here in Kenya.

Samburu county is 20,000km² and in the whole of that area, they just had the first C-section. It is shocking. And it was performed at a sub-county hospital not the referral hospital.
Or maybe, the residents have a traditional way of ensuring that there is normal chil birth which negates the need for C-section

Caesarean section is just a way for hospitals to make money. It's rarely necessary.
