I was once accused of facilitating the loss of a container full of gypsum worth 22 Million. I asked the CEO what sense it made to organise such kind of theft and still report to work every day. I did not argue just told them to let me go and if they had evidence,to get the cops into the mix. I left.
Two months down the line,my immediate boss and the finance accountant were found complicit. Everything ended up in court.
The CEO sent emissaries to me and I told them to shove their job where the good lord cracked them up.
What hurt was the fact that I was being falsely accused because I was the only Kikuyu in the company holding a senior operations job and I wasn't Muslim.
That was the end of me and salaried employment...
