What's easier to run - a big supermarket or a big hotel?

Which business has better net profit margins?

For both questions, I am asking generally so please avoid giving vague "it depends" type of answers. It's the average big hotel e.g with 100 rooms versus the average supermarket branch e.g a quickmart branch.

A big supermarket is easier to run, as long as suppliers get paid, the supermarket will thrive albeit with low margins.

The big hotel is harder, riskier to run but has better margins
Hotel is best as a retirement plan. But for a young energetic entrepreneur, then retail could work.
Also source of capital, kama ni loan, a supermarket, kama ni loot aka kuiba hotel.
