Tanzania doing us proud since 1960. Great talent is always succeeded by big talent, and African artists perform best when they do their own thing.

Bongo za siku hizi bure, bure kabisa. I miss kina Professor J, TMK, Ali Kiba of then, Dully Sykes etc.
True. Wasanii wa kisasa talanta wanayo lakini Bongo Flava yenyewe ni hiyo ya enzi za Channel 5. Then, it was raw hip-hop fused with RnB. Za siku hizi hu-sound ni kama wanalia lia all the time. Skiza hii uzito

Hii mambo ya imitation ndiyo iliwamaliza. When you do hip-hop and RnB, you won't be accepted home or away. When you do something original, your talents come out as they should. Hukuona Papy Doggi Dog akitafuta advice ya Diamond juu ya kutambulika kwa kutoa vitu original.

Come to think of it, that's very true.
The taarab feel really stands out and commercially, the new school singers are miles ahead to the point of going 'beyond Africa' international.

The wide acceptability of Tanzanian stars is a vouch for quality.

There is no Kenyan artiste,as they like being called, can fill a venue like these guys...And then Kenyan fans are fickle, half watakua pale for other reasons other than the music
