This once unremarkable neighborhood is gradually turning into a mini-city, thanks to traders who burnt the old rule-book and created a new game where they chose the rules. Looking back, one cannot help but notice that this bustling business hub was founded on weaknesses all through; little customer traffic, poor transport infrastructure, no access to capital, etc, etc. Back in the 90s, the thought of establishing a high-volume business in Eastleigh would have been branded crazy. Eastleigh could be a fitting case study of how to build on adversity. This mini-city circumvented traditional gate-keepers to become the cause of death to many entrenched business-lines.

I tried shopping there after nihame shopping for clothes and shoes in gikomba, realised things were just as expensive....nikahamia tuskys and now i moslty do my shopping at naivas

Eastleigh buildings have come up, you'd hardly find your way if you were to go by old landmarks.
