DP Ruto to address the Nation today

Deputy President William Ruto is expected to address the Nation today from 2PM at his official Karen residence.

According to media outlets, the DP is currently meeting more than 150 leaders including Governors, Senators and Members of Parliament over efforts to build consensus on the Building Bridges Initiative.

The meeting is taking place at his Karen residence

“We have made progress in the document so that it accommodates everyone. Our goal is to ensure that we do not have a contested referendum,” noted the Deputy President.

DP Ruto has last week tweeted that he and his boss the President had made improvement to the BBi report, adding that it was his constitutional duty to assist his boss.

“I've CONSTITUTIONAL duty to assist my boss,the PRESIDENT.We've made IMPROVEMENTS to BBI post bomas. Now working on CONSENSUS for kenyans to have REAL CHOICES to decide/vote while avoiding yes/no,all/nothing DIVISION.We avoided lose-lose we can overcome win-lose to achieve WIN-WIN.”
