Democidal Government In Place In Kenya

Tiiga Waana

Elder Lister
Two short decades after the exit of the tyrannical and authoritarian government of Moi, we now have a government that is intentionally and systematically killing its own people.

What is happening in Sondu is nothing short of democide of genocidal proportions where the government is using state agents to kill and maim members of a “hated tribe”.
Ruto is using the police, plain cloth police and hired goons to target and annihilate Luo people who he considers rabble-rousers.
It has also come to light that he is actively encouraging his kalenjin kinsmen to use their poisoned arrows on the perceived enemy and giving them police protection.

The right to demonstrate is enshrined in the constitution. People have a God given right to assemble with a view to march, protest and demonstrate against government excesses.
This government is instead of providing the necessary protection to demonstrators hunting them down and killing them whilst labelling the demonstrations unruly and criminal.
This ought to stop immediately and the government to engage the protesters to finding a lasting solution.

Luo goons attack and vandalize kipsigis businesses, accusing them of opening during baba’s ‘maandamano holiday’. They later drive off cattle za wenyewe. Now when the owners wamejitokeza to defend themselves and their property from the stone-throwing and thieving goons ndio the same luos wanalia kama nyani zimeona chatu? Did you really expect the other community to give the other cheek? This time ICC will get the right people.

Wewe wacha zako. We need to accept three basic facts to begin with; Ruto is a politician, Politicians are never clean, and Ruto defeated Baba. From that point, we have to acknowledge that Baba is not the right person to lead the demonstrations because his intentions can never be genuine. The best option is for Baba to disqualify himself from the struggle and let Kenyans voice their true sentiments. Believe me, Baba's opportunism is preventing many quarters from voicing their true feelings for fear of aiding the 'opposition.'

Demon-strators leave Katito in Kisumu and Oyugis in Homabay to come and demonstrate in Sondu, the Kericho county side, left Mama fish and all the business at stage Kisumu, but looted kebeneti stores, Kimani Eatery, Njoro malimalis shop and tried breaking into Kcb bank.
There is a difference between rioters and politically charged looters.

If Ruto was indeed the legitimate and undisputed President of Kenya he wouldn’t need to kill and maim citizens to reinforce that fact. After all, he would have nothing to fear.

He swore the oath of office to uphold, defend and protect the Constitution. To do so he must guarantee and ensure that Citizens rights are respected and not infringed or trumped upon by the State or by hired Kalenjin militias.

It is really shocking and worrying when unarmed and defences Citizens expressing their displeasure with the Government through legitimate demonstrations face the muzzle of the gun.
The French have been on the streets for the last three weeks and have unleashed untold destructions on Paris. Buildings and cars have been torched, shops broken into and contents looted and graffiti etched all over the faces of plazas. Yet not one Citizen have lost a drop of blood to Police guns.

If JSKS does not know how to govern without brutality and coercion, he should stand aside and allow someone else who can take control.
Blatant abuse of human rights of such magnitude, especially right to life, should never be allowed to prevail anywhere on this planet.

Does the law of the Land prescribe pre-judicial killing to them?

In PT officers are instructed to maintain law and order, at the same time to protect their own lives in the course of duty. When a horde of politically charged goons run after police officers who had depleted blanks and teargas cannister, pelting them with stones from catapult and slings, it's common sense for the officers to respond in kind. What's the use of carrying a personal weapon that can't protect your own self against attacks.

Learn to differentiate between demon-strators and organised goons transported from two different counties with the intention of destruction and looting.

Unarmed really? Mawe sio silaha? Your rights as a Kenyan citizen ends when you intrude into the personal space of another. You stone, vandalize and steal someone else’s property halafu akijidefend unalia ati your rights are being infringed on? Mtamea akili.

It is disingenuous of you to excuse extra-judicial killings and the bloodthirstiness of the Kenya Police. And this is not even talking of poor planning of operations by Police.

How on God’s green earth do a whole Police Department sent to contain demonstrations run out of blanks and other riot ammo and have to resort to live ammunition? How?

Is the lives of Kenyans this cheap and dispensable? Where is the sacredness of life here?
Why shot someone who is simply exercising their right to dissent?
Killing folks for the simple fact that they are protesting is primitive and savage and is no longer tolerated in sane Societies.

Wacha tu tuseme ukweli: Ruto wanted some people dead at Sondu as a lesson to others. But that is very wrong on all levels. And it doesn’t work because it won’t end demonstrations. Will more and more folks be killed in each successive demonstration?

Of course, to put an end to this circular debate let's agree:

1. Ruto mobilised Luo's from Kisumu (Katito, Sito pamba and onyuongo) and Homabay(Oyugis Chabera and Pala)counties, with firm instructions to destroy business and attack people.

2. Having done 1, he failed to equip Sondu police station, with enough teargas cannister and blanks to deal with the imported crowd.

3. He also instructed the rioters to pursue the retreating officers, so that they can beat up the police officers and burn down the station for attempting to prevent them from looting and attacking peaceful traders.

With the three in mind we are in agreement 🤝.

:LOL::LOL::LOL:Barely a year ago you were excusing the River Yala murders justifying it that every government needs such to contain some characters in a society. Sahii ndio umejua ni extrajudicial? Cry us another river yala

We must admit that Raila is using goons and the gullible public to push his agenda. Should the police respond with a heavy hand, Ruto will never hear the end of it from the international community. Hence he is playing by the same rule book raila is. All is fair and people should stop crying foul when they have been countered.
If the cost of living was only High in Kenya I would be worried but it’s everywhere.
And what taxation are people crying about? Si Bado ni 16% VAT ama imeongezwa?

Story ya him using goons is debatable.

1. Sonko confessed to hiring goons and giving them ODM paraphernalia to paint a bad picture of Raila.
2. Raila showed up unannounced in CBD this week, spoke to wananchi about cost of living and there were no goons. So why would he now want goons on Wednesday?

Him calling for maandamano while he knows exactly what will happen. What’s the reason for the demonstrations?
We must admit we have accrued lots of loans that must be paid. Uhuru played his game and ensured that the bill doesn’t fall due during his tenure and good on him for the politician self. Deni lazima tulipe

Anasema server ifunguliwe na audit ifanywe. This is an easy request that Ruto can accommodate unless there's something he doesn't want people to know.
