Guys like this are a danger to everyone including their bosses.

They won't, in Law you are innocent until proven guilty, the matter was under investigation.

That's why they slap you with civil lawsuit. They will say you owed them care. How can you defend a case where someone says your negligence caused them loss.

Im not saying the cop's bosses will get a criminal prosecution. But that's fair game for a civil suit for damages.
