Hello members. I received a call from my younger cousin-ako around 20 years hivi. Apparently, he desperately need money to take some online business, on enquiring I was told about some online business named crowd1 where you invest bla bla and you are paid through binary system.
According to him its so legit that some of his friends are getting paid while no one believes him. He ended the call stating that we as family do not support him, so I took it serious.

Now friends is crowd1 a legit bs or its just a pyramid scheme. Please keep in mind that no retail products this company sells and research doesn't bring a conclusive data.

Thats bullshit. Your young bro is falling for Nigeria's yahoo boys. Pesa zitaenda. Let him get skills kama za kina deorro. That's coding, graphic design, writing etc.

With these skills he can get jobs online kama pale upwork or fiverr plus other clients. Using the money earned he can establish his own online project kama a blog or website etc.

How much money is he asking for? Sometimes it is okay to let young people take lessons from experience. In some matters, they will never believe you no matter how much you try to convince them. All it takes is one lesson from experience and they will be immunized for life. If it is not a big amount, you could give it to him, and maybe also hand him a list of the alternative things he could do with the money. At the bottom of that list, remind him that other people will take off with that money to do those things he could have done. Hopefully, he might turn out to be the best preacher against con-schemes in the entire village.

He might not handle the outcome well, people have turned to suicide in such coning situations.

You are lending him the money. They will surely make a first payout to him to entice him to 'invest' more. That when you ask him to to pay back. Make sure that happens.
If it turns out is was a scam,which it is,no one will blame you. You will say you gave him seed money. If he gets scammed any other amount,your money will be safe and you will be able to say 'I told you so'...
(The agreement to payback should be in writing)

the way these scams work is they will make sure he reinvests that money as fast as possible... his reasoning will be..." I'll pay my cousin with the next payout since it will be bigger"
