Now they want to embark on risk profile lending, they might be the first bank to actually use CRB for it's intended purpose. Currently the practice with most banks is that the moment you're listed and you have cash flows, they can't lend to you .

yes, after Eurobond 1 in 2014 mzae came out and said he wont borrow locally. That never happened. They went on a borrowing spree and crowded out everyone else. That's one of the reasons the economy tanked.

The money in peoples pockets is cash based.

Equity's regional expansion is paying off. In fact, the group predicts that their operation in DRC will overtake the business in Kenya at some point. Currently, the DRC business contributes about 10% of the group's profits.

They cut loan loss provisioning by 5 billion!! Banks love to manipulate this figure when calculating determining earnings. I would have been more impressed if they hadn't tampered with the figure.
