After three weeks the lady calls me to go to the yard immediately! Nkifika huko I couldn't spot my car so I thought most likely amepata buyer.nkiingia kwa ofisi ndio ananiambi ati gari imepotea. I was in constant communication na ocs kujua vile kesi inaendelea, and I had even threatened to involve senior guys. then one evening the ocs calls me tukutane hapo taidys.tulikutana hapo and this is what he said, "gari unaeza nunua ingine, lakini maisha yako huwezi nunua". "Uyo mama tunamjua, mambo yake ni ngumu hautawezana". To me that was a direct threat, na hapo ndio nkajiambia aleikum Salam.

Another con game involved a business partner who took a loan of 450k from a Sacco nkakuwa guaranter wake.he had guaranteed me before so ilikua kurudisha mkono.jama alidefault na akaingia mitini.huge chunk of my shares had to sink.

I realized later I was dealing with a reknown thief who had police officers on her payroll.several guys had undergone the same escaped.the more I was persuading the case the more I was posing a danger.

In 2010 I had taken my first vehicle to a sale yard along Ngong road, that even featured in an investigation into cons at the yard. After the sale we started cat and mouse games, mara cheque haijakuwa signed, mara the person responsible is not available, on my fifth trip, I got mad and declared that I was no longer interested with the money, I will smash all the windscreens of the vehicle in the yard and count it as my payment. I picked a huge rock from the landscape of the office and started heading to the parked vehicles, a salesman rushed after me, and told me that the manager wanted to see me. I was given a cheque indicating half the price and went for the remainder a fortnight later, found the cheque waiting for me at the reception .

sometimes in 2013 niko mancave pale eastleigh on a boring sunday.This was before i joined campus.With a few coins i had nikabuy sunday nation.Upon perusing the pages nikapata a small advert pale kwa classifieds section talking about some company inaconnect raia job airport.I call the number and talk to some sleykwin.I get a date for the following day hapo Tuskys next to bus station.Suddenly i could't help but wonder why we have millions of jobless youths when a job is only a phone call away!next morning I arrive,Meet the sleykwin and an interview is underway after I pay 200 bob.
Nikaambiwa nikujie results the following day.Upon arriving nikaambiwa for me to access my results I will have to pay some 2k as a final instalment since i had passed the interview,Nikalipa!
Nikapewa contract.I signed in readiness kuanza kazi anytime.
The following day napigiwa naambiwa niende kwa ofisi zao.I rushed there and now met somebody different.The somebody told me nilipe an extra 5k za uniform na job card.I did not have it.Nikapigia mzee simu,This is how the conversation went;

I counted my losses amounting to ksh 2200 and went back to my man cave.Never had the courage to tell this story till recently.

I have also lost money to multilevel marketing scams. During the jubilee digital hype. They would invite one to a meeting in a building next to kenya cinema. You pay around 100bob as you sign your name kwa entrance. After a huge motivational speech with nonsense like 'fire your boss and be your own boss' they convince you that that all you need to get started ni 30USD. ksh 2,700 at the time. They made sure you only realised later after paying that the so called digital products to be sold e.g domains were just nonsense,the only way to recover your non refundable lost cash was by misleading others to join under you name in order to get a cut of their 30USD. nikatembeza kiatu moss moss as i warned my peers on the new con in town
