Implement this two suggestions then we can talk about click baits @Nefertities
Uuuuum why are you tagging me?

I only answered a question and from what I've seen, the person who asked the question wasn't interested in the answer. I'm starting to think you aren't either.

As a fellow user, I checked yesterday and noted that I could still edit and delete week-old content of my own. I don't know how I can make that any clearer.

If you remember correctly, I was the one who clashed with admin before about this same thing. By the time I noticed that rules had changed, I didn't have a choice.

You, other users with this same issue and @Ngimanene na Muchere have an advantage I didn't. Since the posting of this thread and his first comment saying he was leaving, the edit and delete functions haven't been locked. Why not go back and delete all posted comments threads one by one before the lockdown occurs?????????????? It's been more than 24 hours which is enough time to do so.

I mean ... it's what I would have done if I had the option back when I was arguing with admin and he was being obstinate about it.

Weka upvote and downvote button
This is the only thing I didn't address.

You know, the problem with me answering your questions is that it looks like I'm some kind of mod or admin.

Anyways, from what I've seen on other xenforo-based forums I visit, they use the reaction score to rate one's content. If you check, there's a reaction which looks like this

On another forum I'm on, the admin and his mods will periodically check the amount of posts a user has made against how many  reactions he has. They then use this to either send the user a warning or somehow change his status to show that his content isn't well received.

How many people on klist have even used that function?

And yes, I completely understood your questions and point.

Hello Listers, hope you guys had a great week.

Let's talk about Clickbait Titles. To give a good example of what they are, then look at posts by Digi on Ktalk. The engagements most of those posts create are not really positive in a way that benefits a community. Most people will be calling the OP names or hurling insults at them. People will still contribute to a post if correct headlines are used.

For this reason, clickbait kind of posts are not welcome here, especially for news. If you are going to share a news item then in the post title just write about it. No need of telling us about how No 7 will shock us or how Kiambu Man likes Raila then in the post it is a random image downloaded from google with nothing.

Opinions and concerns are welcomed below
