If you're looking for an affordable Valentine's location that will give you great views, pocket-friendly prices, and excellent food, then Chemi Chemi Tented Camp might be the place for you to visit.
The tented camp sits on 5 acres in Matasia, a town that is located between Ng’ong town and Kiserian town. It is about an 80 minute drive away from Nairobi Town.
From Matasia Town, the camp is located at least 2 Kms away with the road between the town and the camp being a nightmare to use. One should come prepared with a vehicle that has high ground clearance.
The camp which is sponsored by Care to Learn International, a registered NGO is also a place where companies can hold retreats, or families can hold weddings and other celebrations.
Chemi Chemi has a conference facility with a capacity of 80 guests and has wireless sustainable Internet and a fully equipped kitchen and trained personnel.
The camp also has ten spacious luxury platform safari tents, each with its own dressing area, shower, toilet, and double sink. The tents can accommodate up to four people. The camp’s maximum capacity is 30 guests at this time.
A one-night stay at the resort can cost you $80 dollars (Ksh 9,088).
