As student of anthropology,the short form(definition) of ethnobotany is the study of the relationship between plants and people from a historical and cultural perspective....
What @Kamnjoro is saying is that @Mwalimu-G ,the one plant ganja farmer would do well if he traced his one plant farming from a historical perspective(he is a phoseal obviously) and a cultural one ( do 'Embians' plant just one seed for personal or commercial use?)...

Though my thesis would be on the relationship between Mwarim and the plant and it's cultural and historical importance in the context of Mwarim's posts which by far and large seem to be influenced by the said herb.
