I don't know about you but to me, I don't prefer either Messi or Ronaldo. Being neither a Barca/Real fan might be the reason but those two gents have defined football in a massive way since around 2004.
They're of course really different in their skillset, personality and more importantly what makes them tick.
Messi is defo a more naturally gifted player while one can't ignore how immense Roro's self-discipline and innate drive has ensured that they've been the best footballers and playing at the top level for so long.
Y'all know the crazy statistics and have watched their compilations but sadly and ultimately, it seems that at their ages now M-33 & R-36, their decline is nigh and it couldn't have been highlighted better than seeing them both out of the UCL quarters for the 1st time since 2005.
Ironically, the next hot youngsters, PSG's Mbappe & BVB's Haaland came through for their teams and both seem next in line to be the best of the best for years to come. Oh, and Arsenal's Saka too
