CBC Things

I have some misgivings about this system of education, after my neighbor's daughter was told to bring to school chicken and cow manure, the following day,(where the hell did the teacher expect a parent leave alone a child to get those things in a city, and to make matters worse you only have the evening to get 'em). But I believe this is the way to go and the future, and now this

It won't. The rainbow movement has realized their ideas are a hard sell to Africans. Instead, they have chosen to market anatomical intersex first, which is more likely to draw intrigue and sympathy from the general population.
Hope you are right on this. But our so called celebrities are very much advocating that shitty(tic) stuff, kina Sauti sol et al.

CBC will fail because government won't commit resources as needed. Take music classes for instance, there is no way to teach it without a sound system installed which has not been done so far, art and craft too requires tools and workshops, none have been set up.

Without visual and audio aids learning outcomes cannot be met.

We bashed 8-4-4 for so long yet it was never the problem, underresourcing is our undoing.

Naniii, teaching music does not need or require a sound system. Sound system ya nini? Or you want everyone to be a Demakoofo? Who told you that?

Teaching music requires instruments like the pipes, drums, guitars, keyboards etc. Some of these instruments are being sold in the streets as children's toys.

Furthermore, some of the are already being used in the communities by the same kids eg the Giriama use the marimba, the pipe and the like.
All the students need are those instruments, some of which are cheap to start understanding music theory and practicals. Its from this introduction that the talented will be spotted and then untalented(musicwise) will be chased from that class...

Hizo manoogle ndio zinapea watoto wa playgroup assignments zingine mpaka unashindwa anafikiria nini. It's like we the parents tumerudi shule cos hao watoto hawawezi jifanyia.
Sio manugu...the tumbocrats at Elimu House realized muliachia waalimu watoto wenu. So you are all being brought back to being involved in your children lives and education. Tulia and see your kid grow into a wholesome adult unlike you who thinks maisha ni pesa tu.

You still need to play recorded music to give students a benchmark.

The issue at hand is the lack of said instruments, as long as gafament fails to avail them our staggering inequality means only students in private schools and national schools will get to fully absorb the knowledge passed on through the new curriculum.

And playing recorded music requires a sound system?
You get taught real music thru practise. Like when that boy who I claim as my son went for guitar lessons, there was no recording. It was about learning music notes from books and being taught how to play and achieve the said notes..

Rainbow movement iko active social media na entertainment. That's where most of the indoctrination happens, and many Generation Z are likely to adopt those trends considering Africans are slowly losing their culture.

Schools still need guitars, pianos, flutes and drums which cost money, don't they?

Resourcing needs was the crux of my comment, same issue happened to 8-4-4 which necessitated the axing of music, art & craft, homescience which we are attempting to half-heartedly bring back through CBC albeit without proper investment.
