Business Permit? Nimechezwa? Saidieni please Elders.

So guys about a month ago i was setting up a small business and decided to use an agent to acquire the necessary documentation as i was busy handling other projects. Everythings went smoothly except that the business permit was not shared instead he sent me the Nairobi county bill as proof of payment,reason being there was system issues that had made it difficult for the official permit to be generated but he 100% assured me the bill was just as good as the permit because it shows that the relevant fees due to the county were paid and once the system was resolved he will share the official permit, a month hes still yet to share. The guy came highly recommended by my friend whose used his agency services for bigger projects. So Elders familiar with the Nairobi county how tru is this system troubles? How can i verify that the bill is original and paid for. I feel i need to be pro active and take the necessary if shit has hit the fan.

Just go to the county website and in put the e-receipt number...that should give a headway. Though,from experience,the system generates a permit the minute you input the payment details. It can not stop at generating the receipt only.

I did that and it seems the guy was dishonest,on inputing the receipt numbers it says pending payment. I put the businedd ID section and it returns no result. I decided to deal with the permit thing myself. I paid the fees again and the permint was generated instantly. That is solved. Now am planning on the best way to recover my money from this ghasia agent,will talk to my friend and tell him the guy has to return my money within a week or i take the traditional recovery options. I have a pamba friend a call away who will finya both his nuts till we get the money. Dont mind sharing the recovery money with him, people do stupid shit.

Thanks guys will totally recover my money from the guy one way or another. I was very generous with him considering just how smooth the whole online process was in hindsight. Am also concerned on the validity of the other documents i have obtained through the agent and have to do my due deligence. He did stuff like Fire Cerificate,Planning & Food Hygiene. @It's Me Scumbag i guess its the same process to check for authenticity. Yeah,better do an entire audit of your licenses. You might operating illegally. Your guy pengine alimumunya cash together with the local kanju thugs ndo sababu husumbuliwi.
