The entrepreneur has arrogantly told the parents who had gone to court to either pay or else, the schools are so many. In this school, you buy brand which is very expensive just like@Field Marshal takes White Cup while most of the time I take Tusker, but economy ikiwa mbaya, beer ya mafundi, Balozi huwa sawa kwangu.

Hehehehehehehe!

Wazazi wa kujifinyilia ili waringie majirani, hii ni nafasi poa ya ku-downgrade. That Chut knows no chills, hata akimada Osungu.dll.

Ugonjwa uko hapa:

A section of parents argue that they were not part of the group that had moved to court as “Brookhouse Parents Association” saying they were never consulted. The group claims that some of the parents had resorted to sabotage virtual learning as they were either too busy or lazy to help their children go through the program.

Supreme Court Judge Njoki Ndung’u and Radio Africa Group Operations Manager Caroline Mutoko, who are parents in the institution, are said to have led the parents to sue the school.

The school also defended their demand for third term fees. The school directors stated that despite students learning from home, the school is paying teachers and support staff full salaries

Well, sio kila mzazi anapeleka mtoto huko ndio aringie majirani. I know for a fact a number of parents in that school are expatriates who have emploment contracts that allow their kids to study for free in any school. Such clauses in contracts are now being revised by employers.

Misleading. Nothing is free. Some party other than parent has to meet that cost.

Hizi shule ni za networking na wenye madeals...kama mtu hana pesa akwende
never understood the networking part, this schools are mostly expatriates who take their kids huko, and expatriates are mostly just kawaida class citizens back in their countries, plus how does a primary even a high school id create networks, university I can understand, but the others sioni.

Kama hamuwezi afford, jitoeni. The guy has a point to those silly parents complaining and they have no gun pointed to their heads.

Hao wazazi ndio wakusumbua na kulipa fees. Now is the best time to deal with them. Inakaa bado wako na pending bills za 2019.

Hii saga naona ni kama njaro ya kufukuza watu fukara kwa hio shule after which it becomes a truly exclusive school for the creme de la creme of the society. Kina Jayden lazima watakanyaga kubwa kubwa. Caroline Matako ameanzisha vita mzuri sana. Alete Jayden asome na watoto wa peasants wenzake. Halafu radio Africa waseme retrenchment juu ya corona sii ndio atahara?

Mtoi wako akisomea hapo atapata marafiki wanaeza jengana in future. Thats an investment in your kid by the way.

For some parents, networking is the ONLY reason they'll take their kids to such schools. Ask yourself how many of our presidents classmates in primary are in positions of power now simply because of being friends with him.

So the kids Will Network online? The owner is in denial. Covid, has taken away one of his most important competitive advantages, facilities. If kids continue learning from home, there is nothing stopping a parent hiring a teacher directly thus eliminating the midleman(school).

I think Bruce and the president were good friends, but I just find it weird to pay all that cash banking on such happening, either way most of these expensive schools nowadays are mostly filled up by expatriate kids and guys in senior management in the big companies, and those are people who will most likely have no connections of importance to your kid.

would be interesting to have some numbers on that, and if networking helps in such scenarios, my thinking is that if you can afford 2 or 3 millions in fees for a primary school kid, one must be doing good and your connections should be enough for your kid.

The risky part is the parent who takes loans, or struggles to have their kids in such schools banking on the kid becoming friends with a kid from an influential family, seems like a very risky investment, one would better put that cash into some tangible investment that will help the kid in future.

For those who dont feel the pinch for such kind of money no problem, but still if the major reason is networking, I would still find that an odd investment strategy.
